In quarantine, one of my biggest fears was not being able to get work done. But between spaces and hours locked up, I managed to turn my house into a studio space to experiment and capture moments of elements that I constantly collect.
Over time I realized this could be bigger. Some posters, some shirts, and some bags that I couldn't sell to one of the brands that will appear in this project. However, I saved them as one of my first collections, inspired by what I like the most: sneakers.
Most of the models are references that are part of the story, from appearing in a movie to putting an end to violence.

Air Command Force 1990 edition.
Launched in 1990 with a technology that was very little explored. The operation at the rear involves a cylinder deflating the bladder located on the lateral side of the shoe. I was quite curious to understand that AIR FIT is Pump's competitor under the same mechanism and also that it is the brand's bet on fitting any type of size. The leather upper features a molded external ankle collar and an elastic support saddle (hytrel), for lightweight support. Two Air sole units, one in the heel and one in the forefoot, provide soft and light cushioning. Flexible grooves are located on the front of the Air sole, the midsole, and the outsole for excellent flexibility.
Nike's Air Command Force is a highly technical and innovative product, designed for every serious and competitive basketball player. The technology allowed many brands of the moment to launch their explorations and inventions to the market, to have different types of pumps that protected and adjusted to the foot. Reebok Pump, Twilight Zone, are parts that show us some of that. In this era, every player selected which shoe they felt most comfortable playing in.

The launch:
Command Force appears in a 1992 movie.
A movie that undoubtedly reflects the worst problem we face today worldwide. Racism.
While still being comedic, it tells the story of two street basketball players facing off for money. Billy Hoyle (Woody Harrelson) is a white man who confronts those who insult him and those who say he can't play well because he's white. Billy Hoyle challenges Sidney Deane (Wesley Snipes). A small black man, talented, arrogant, but skillful, very powerful and brilliant on the courts of beautiful Venice Los Angeles.
Sidney Deane, after being defeated and humiliated twice in a row in front of his friends, decides to accept Billy's challenge and acknowledge that he has great skills on the court, feeling that he can serve as a resource to grow his businesses and fill everyone's pockets. An addiction to gambling and betting of two scammers with simultaneous loyalty.
"The men White can't jump" is a high-quality movie. Very rich content from the 90s. It shows us how basketball created connections among people while different social and racial issues enveloped the neighborhoods of Los Angeles.
Air Command Force Spurs.
David Robinson.
With a highly anticipated return in 2014, the Nike Air Command Force from the ultra range showcases a color combination inspired by the San Antonio Spurs.
A commemoration of David Robinson's achievements in the 90s (Rookie of the Year 1989 - 90, NBA MVP 1995, 1991, and 2003).
Its oversized black leather and nubuck upper contrasts with gray details and hits of Hype Jade-Pink on the eyelets. Internally hidden near the ankle is an Air Fir pump system: an air bladder that runs along the heel counter to protect the ankle. It can be inflated and deflated to provide a customized fit for the foot.
